Uriah Bobbitt was a son of Randolph and Nancy Phillips Bobbitt. He was born in Virginia on March 19, 1818. Uriah Bobbitt married Elizabeth Matilda Worrell on September 20, 1843 in Kentucky. Uriah lived the rest of his life in Iowa.

Everett Hale Bobbitt was the son of William and Elizabeth Hale Bobbitt. He first married Mary Ann Newton who died. Mary Ann was the mother of the first three children listed here. Everett left Illinois and went to Iowa where he worked as a carpenter. He returned to Illinois and married Nancy Giddings moved back to Iowa where he had three or four children. He died in Iowa in 1907. Theodore Newton Bobbitt was a state senator for the state of Nebraska. David Franklin Bobbitt was born on January 23, 1844 in Morgan County, Illinois and died June 20, 1913 at Haddan, Washington County, Kansas. David married Araminta Tinny of Suttonville, West Virginia.
