Miles Bobbitt was a son of Lewis and Mary (Person) Bobbitt. Miles first married Susan Gunn, on October 19, 1814. They were the parents of Samuel, Eliza, Alpheus, Lewis, and Susan Bobbitt. Miles married Martha Davis on January 1, 1827 in Warren County after the death of his first wife.
