Stephen Bobbitt was believed to have been a son of John and Sarah (Gibson) Bobbitt, and a brother to John Bobbitt of Greenbrier County. The census above is the only record of Henry P. Bobbitt and one cannot help but think that he must have been a descendant of Stephen Bobbitt. He had no family listed with him.
