Hello Eileen,
Marsha did correctly type the 4 October 1730 burial date for
Philipus or Phillip Bobbett the first time Marsha typed it in her 16 Oct
2010 email, Updated Marsha's ancestry tree for Chird and Peter Bobbett m Ann
Swallow buried 24 Jul 1778 Beccles.
Yes type-o's do happen and I did have a type-o on the year of
burial for Phillip Bobbett the 2nd time I typed it in my 16 Oct 2010 email.
Previous to my 16 Oct 2010 email with the one year type-o
error,
on 15 Oct 2010 I had placed the burial date of 4 October 1730
for Philipus or Phillip Bobbett on my private ancestry tree for Chird. And
the 4 October 1730 burial date is on my PAF5.2.
And, in the 16 Oct 2010 email I only included information
about the 2 newest children found, Phillip and Daniel chr 1736.
There are a few items that I did not bring up on my 16 Oct
2010 email about Chird's genealogy and I will bring them up to
everyone later.
I will bring up one now that Eileen mentioned in her Tuesday,
19 Oct 2010 email and gave the name Abraham Bobbett infant in North Cove in
the 1500's to 1900's All Bobbitt and Variations National Burial Index
England and Wales,
so here it is the remainder of the information on page 8 of
14:
14 Oct 1737 Abraham Bobbett inf Suffolk, North Cove, Saint
Botolph
Thanks Eileen.
Regards,
Marsha

Hi Marsha,
Hopefully my computer will be up and running soon. I was wondering
if you could make a correction for the burial of Phillip Bobbett -
there are 2 different dates on this email. The 4 Oct 1730 is the
correct date. Also, on the national burial index, there is a burial
listed for Abraham Bobbett, infant in North Cove. This can be added
to the file as well.
Thanks,
Eileen

Hello Chird, Eileen and Keith,
It is not something we do Eileen, but why are we having a
problem correctly seeing and writing Abraham Bobbett's burial date? I
believe it is because someone wants to get our attention to be found as we
would not have looked again and assumed it was for an Abraham we already
had.
There is a 2nd Abraham Bobbett, son of William Bobbett and
Susanna Budd Bobbett. It is not unusual to have 2 children with the same
first names. My Crabb family has 2 sons John: one they called John the
eldest and the other they called John the younger and both lived to their
old age.
Let us all take another really good look at the burial
date for Abraham Bobbett as it is fourteen or 14 Oct 1737 in North Cove,
Suffolk, England.
In the 1500's to 1900's All Bobbitt and Variations National
Burial Index England and Wales, page 8 of 14
is Abraham Bobbett
Infant,
buried 14 Oct 1737 in Saint Botolph, North Cove, Suffolk,
Englan
An online medical dictionary definition of Infant is a
young human from the time of birth to one year of age.
We already have twin Abraham Bobbett baptised 5 Mar 1733 in
Worlingham, Suffolk, England.
If he died in 1737 he would be 4 years old in 1737 and not
under the usual definition of an infant and would be under the definition of
a young child.
However, in looking at Abraham's burial date of 14 Oct 1737,
that is the same date as Susanna Bobbett's 14 Oct 1737 baptism date so
Marsha knows that Abraham was buried on his sister's baptism day. Abraham
would have been born in 1737 to have him qualify as an Infant and he would
be a twin brother to Susanna. Marsha concludes parents William and Susanna
Budd Bobbett had 2 sets of twins.
New proposed 14 children of William and Susanna Bobbett:
1. Elizabeth born 1719 Beccles
2. Peter born 1720 Beccles
3. William born 1723 Beccles
4. James baptised 2 May 1725 Barnby
5. James baptised 2 Oct 1726 Barnby
6. Phillip born 1727 Worlingham
7. Daniel baptised 22 May 1730 Worlingham
8. Ezra baptised 9 Jul 1732 Worlingham
9. Abraham [twin] baptised 5 Mar 1733 Worlingham
10. Sarah [twin] baptised 5 Mar 1733 Worlingham
11. Daniel baptised 8 Aug 1736 North Cove
Note: to qualify as an Infant, Abraham would have been born
in 1737 and as he was buried on his sister Susanna's baptism day, Marsha
proposes Abraham is Susanna's twin brother.
12. Abraham [proposed twin] buried 14 Oct 1737 North Cove
13. Susanna [proposed twin] baptised 14 Oct 1737 North Cove
14. Mary baptised 2 Dec 1739 North Cove
Marsha sent this to everyone before, but here it is again.
Individual Record from old familysearch:
Susanna Bobbit
Christening: 14 Oct 1737 North Cove, Suffolk, England
Father: Wm. Bobbit
Mother: Susanna
Extracted christenings/baptisms
Batch No. C013662
Dates: 1696-1875
Source Call No. 0097131 Film
Parish registers for North Cove, 1696-1948. Church of
England. Parish Church of North Cove [Suffolk]
The important thing is that the 14 Oct 1737 North Cove,
Suffolk, England burial date for Abraham and the 14 Oct 1737 baptism date
for Susanna were previously put on the private ancestry tree Marsha has for
Chird and on Marsha's PAF5.2.
Eileen, as old familysearch has no record, please research a
birth/chr/baptism of a 2nd Abraham Bobbett. Many "Thank you's" Eileen.

Marsha

Hello Chird,
Sometimes census surprises us and family live places we don't
expect.
What you are reading on your hyperlink on the private
ancestry tree Marsha has for you but Marsha did not personally write in, but
looked up the 1920 US Census, so the ancestry result is,
1920 Residence: Cypert, White, Arkansas,
then it says 1 source citation
and when you click on it says 1920 United States Federal
Census
and when one clicks on and reads the actual 1920 US census it
has at the left top:
State: Arkansas
County: White
Enumeration District: 162
Then:
Cypert Township, Name of Incorporated Place: Worden
13 Jan 1920
All were born in Arkansas and parents were born in Arkansas:
43, 43,
Bobbitt, Fleming, head, age 23, home: rent, farmer, general
farm
Bobbitt, Mary, wife, age 20
Bobbitt, William S., son, age 1/12
Churchill, Harry, brother, age 19, farmer, general farm
Chird, it will not be an official record like a census, but I
can add a residence for you for Bald Knob, Bald Knob Township, White County,
Arkansas. Do you know the year or years they lived there? Would you like
me to do this?
Regards,
Marsha

Thanks so much for the 1920 census page. You can
add this document too.
As I said I do not have copies of a lot of
documents I have listed on my site, so anything you have I am glad to get.
I will continue asking for Earl's birth
certificate, may have to get it from the state.
Thanks again

Hello Eileen, Chird, and Keith,
Chird, this is great news from Eileen. Chird, your
Bobbitt line is back another generation thanks to Eileen.
Thank you Eileen for going Saturday, 6 Nov 2010 to the Salt
Lake City, Utah Family History Library.
Marsha is hoping the Norfolk County Council has a better
quality copy of the 1708 Will of William Bobbit, yeoman of Ringsfield,
Suffolk, England that can be ordered.
Eileen, Marsha has 2 requests after you hear back from the
Norfolk County Council and have ordered and received a better quality copy
of the 1708 Will:
1. that you send Chird, Keith and Marsha a pdf of the
original 1708 Will of William Bobbitt, yeoman of Ringsfield, Suffolk,
England.
2. that you send Chird, Keith and Marsha a pdf of
your transcription of the original 1708 Will of William Bobbitt, yeoman of
Ringsfield, Suffolk, England
Note: Eileen, just in case the Norfolk County Council does
not have a better quality copy of the 1708 Will, did you make a copy of the
original 1708 Will of William Bobbitt, yeoman of Ringfield, Suffolk,
England while you were at the SLC FHL? And, did you make a transcription of
the 1708 Will?
Note: Marsha looked and the Norfolk Record Office online
catalogue gave the date 23 Aug 1679 for the settlement bond that involves a
John Bobbitt, cordwainer of Yarmouth, Norfolk.
The Great Yarmouth, Norfolk area needs to be researched.
Eileen, Marsha believes there is no need for us to meet
together to plan further research agenda until after the above is
accomplished [taken from Eileen's 7 Nov 2010 Research Report for Bobbett
Family of Beccles, Suffolk, England] and/or something else comes up in the
Great Yarmouth, Norfolk area.
Thank you Eileen. Great job. Keep in touch.

Hello Chird, Eileen and Keith,
For your Monday morning, 8 Nov 2010 reading and your records
should read are on Chird's private ancestry tree by Marsha and you all have
access.
Marsha has added William Bobbett [about 1650 to 1708 Will]
and wife Mary [about 1655 to 12 Nov 1738 burial] and their 3 daughters for
the present time called Miss Bobbett to Chird's private ancestry tree by
Marsha. Their sons William Bobbett and Peter Bobbett have been on the tree
for some time.
Marsha took a look at the Peter Bobbett information on
Chird's private ancestry tree which has no about marriage date and place,
but the complete marriage date and place that has been there for some time:
Peter Bobbett [bailiffe] born about 1696 of Beccles, Suffolk,
England
Married 25 July 1722 Ellough, Suffolk, England to Ann
Swallows
Source: Ellough Parish registers
Note: What is so interesting about the family of Peter
Bobbett and Ann Swallows is the number of deaths in their family in 1735 as
in the Beccles CD Burials:
Father Peter Bobbett buried 6 Mar 1735
Mother Ann Swallows buried 9 Feb 1735
Son John Bobbett buried 11 Mar 1735
Son Peter Bobbett buried 14 Nov 1735
The only child that lived and married was John Bobbett that
married Ann Ayton 5 Feb 1748 Ellough, Suffolk, England in the Ellogh Parish
registers.
Please make note of the about births dates and place
of Beccles, Suffolk, England on Chird's ancestry tree:
Father: Peter Bobbett born about 1696
Mother: Anne Swallows born about 1698
Son John Bobbett born about 1724
Son John Bobbett born about 1730 m. Ann Ayton
Son Peter Bobbett born about 1735
Question: Marsha wonders what caused the deaths the same
year of 1735 for 4 out of 5 members of the same family? Maybe it was one of
those diseases that runs through families as their extended family seem ok
as they raised the surviving John.
An extra note as your records should read: Peter Bobbett, the
son of Peter Bobbett and Mary Flowers:
born about 1757 Beccles, Suffolk, England
Burial: 24 July 1778 Beccles, Suffolk, Engand, Saint Michael

Eileen will make it after Eileen gets home from work today, Monday, 8 Nov

Hello Chird,
Chird, this 1831 Will for William
Bobbett is not a link to your line. He is not in
the Beccles or Bungay births or marriages CD's. He
has come to Beccles from somewhere else before his
1st child was born in 1817 which absolutely does not
fit your line. And, there is no Walsingham or
Lowestoff area link to your line either.
Eileen and I have your Bobbett line
and the father of your Edmond[e] Bobbett buried 25
Dec 1611 in Marlingford, Norfolk, England is Thomas
Bobbet 1576 Will in Ipswich, Suffolk, England and
his father is Roger Bobbett 1521 Will in Ipswich,
Suffolk, England.
Ipswich is only 40 miles away from
Marlingford.
Chird, it is not unusual for Eileen
to send Wills or other records that may or may not
pertain to your line, because it is part of the
research process. Eileen sent me many Wills that
were not my line. Because Eileen and I do genealogy
research we kept all of these Wills.
As I do not have a Thomas Bobbett
with a son Edmond[e] in the 1576 Ipswich, Suffolk,
England Will and following with the father Roger
Bobbet in the 1521 Ipswich, Suffolk, England Will,
as I emailed from our last 10 Nov
2010 meeting, Eileen and I announced these 2 more
generations of your family Chird. Eileen and I will
check more about the children in these 2 Wills.
I will be adding these 2 generations
soon to the private ancestry tree I have for you
Chird.
