From the records, most of the children lived their entire lives in North Carolina and mostly in Granville County, near the township of Henderson.

It is not certain when Elizabeth (Turner) Bobbitt died. She was listed as head of household in the census of 1850 taken for Granville County. The family was # 88, counted September 30, 1850 for the Fort Creek District.

We are not certain if Richard Bobbitt and Sarah Bullock were married at the time of this census. Sarah was listed as a Bobbitt and we believe that they were married in 1847. Later Richard and Sarah Bobbitt lived in Warren County, North Carolina.

Elizabeth Bobbitt was not listed in any tax lists or census records after 1850. Allen and Elizabeth Bobbitt had one of the key families in North Carolina. There are numerous descendants living in the state today. The children became teachers, ministers of the Gospel, and leaders in their communities.
