Stephen Bobbitt was a son of John Richard and Amy (Alston) Bobbitt. Stephen was born in 1747. He married Celah Harris in 1774. He reared a large family and died in Warren County in 1824. Three of his sons moved to Tennessee before 1830.

John Bobbitt:

John Bobbitt was a son of Randolph and Elizabeth (Harris) Bobbitt. He was born in 1775 and died in 1823. John Bobbitt married Elizabeth Dowtain on March 17, 1796. Elizabeth was a daughter of Anthony Dowtain of Warren County.

Drury Bobbitt Senior was a son of John Richard and Amy (Alston) Bobbitt. Drury was born in 1744 and died in 1826. He lived in Warren County until 1815 at which time he moved to Moore County. Drury married Elizabeth Harris in 1761. The sons of Drury and Elizabeth were Sheerwood, Drury Junior, John, and Thomas. There were several daughters in the family.

Harris Bobbitt: 

1 male 16 - 26 (1774-1784)                  no females

Harris Bobbitt was the first son of Stephen and Celah (Harris) Bobbitt. He was born in 1775 and died in 1847. He purchased land from his father before he married Partheny Harris on March 11, 1801. The family lived their entire lives in North Carolina. Sons of Harris and Partheny Bobbitt were Kinchen, John Richard, William Harris Bobbitt, and daughters were Elizabeth, Martha, Julie, Lucy, Nancy, and Temperance Bobbitt.
