Perry M. Bobbit, was born November 1, 1867 in Ralls County, Missouri. He married Anna Trulock on November 2, 1893. Anna was born in Illinois on July 16, 1870. Perry Bobbit was a carpenter. Perry and his brother George built several houses in and around Dalton City, Illinois. Perry and Anna Bobbit were founders of the United Brethern Church of Dalton City. The couple had three sons, Lyle Griffin Bobbit, Howard Lewis Bobbit, and James Elmer Bobbit. The family was recorded in the 1900 census of Moultrie County, Illinois.
