From left to right, the first person is PRESIDENT THEODORE ROOSEVELT (1858-1919). The fifth person from the left (to right) is Wiley Perry Bobbitt, born in 1858. The picture was taken in Pratt County, Kassa where Wiley Bobbitt lived. President Theordore Roosevelt liked to on hunt" with Wiley Bobbitt. It is difficult to place the exact date of the picture. Theodore Roosevelt was president of the United States at the time the hunt occured. He was first elected president in 1901. Wiley Perry Bobbitt is a descendant of the Isham Bobbitt family of Warren County North Carolina. The picture above is owned by a descendant, David Dyas of 5517 Anise Court. It is interesting to note how many of Wiley Bobbitt's neighbors came with their fine coon hunting dogs to join the festival bunt.
