Samuel Edmund Allen married Betsy Park Bobbitt. Samuel Allen was interested in family history, civic affairs, and was the registrar of deeds of Warren County for many years. He had the foresight to collect Bobbitt family records and compiled them for members of his family. Among the records reproduced here are items collected by Sam Allen and given to Dr. Samuel Leslie Bobbitt, who in turn, sent a copy of the records to me for this work.
