Lola May Bobbitt married Walter Summers and they had one son whom they named Charles Edgerton Summers. Walter Summers died when Charles was young. Lola Summers was a woman with a warm personality, a strong Christian faith, great character and a delightful relative.

Virginia Goodrich Bobbitt married Arthur H. Flentje and they had one daughter whom they named Yvonne Bobbitt Flentje. For many years Arthur and Virginia Flentje lived in Minnesota. In 1950 the family moved to Huntington, West Virginia. Virginia (Jennie) Flentje had strong family attachments, was loved by all of her relatives, and was excellent company wherever she visited.

The two daughters were born and reared in Nicholas County, West Virginia. In their community they were well known and liked. In Nicholas County they had family ties with numerous families such as Robinson, Fitzwater, McClung, White, Gardner, Dorsey, Rader, Craig, Fockler, Summers, McCue, and many other families.
