Sometime after 1850, James Bobbitt married a widow by the name of Sarah Boyd. Apparently James Bobbitt met Sarah in Carroll County, married her and moved to that county to live. His son, Albert had moved previously to the county and we think it is likely that James met Sarah Boyd when visiting his son. Both James and His son are listed in the 1860 census of the county.
