Vincent, Matilda and Little Jack Bobbitt. Lacy left no real estate but Lineberry owed him money. Lacy died at Norfolk and gave the note on Lineberry to his cousin William Bobbitt. Somehow John Bobbitt got the note and Trimble sued on it. Jacob Lineberry's answer alleges that John Bobbitt is Lacy's father and heir. Lineberry says he heard that John was the administrator and paid him the note. In the meantime John Bobbitt died in 1816.

Lacy, Matilda, and Vincent Bobbitt lived with James and Rosanna Bobbitt after their father went to Grayson County.

Matilda married and reared a family in the Grayson-Carroll County area. Vincent Bobbitt moved with other members of the family to Pulaski County Kentucky and eventually settled in Fleming County Kentucky.

There are numerous descendants of John and Sarah Bobbitt living throughout the United States today. Interest in the family history, and in the service records of family members has contributed much in time, money, and effort to preserve for future generations what has been salvaged from the past.
