The 1850 Federal Census of Sussex County lists some members of the family. James Edward Bobbitt died in 1847. Green Branch Bobbitt moved to Tennessee. William Golf Bobbitt died in 1853. Peter Threewit Bobbitt inherited the ancestoral home and descendants live there today.
