Most of the Bobbitt family records would have been recorded in the years of 1703 to 1740 but most of these records are missing. We also know that part of the family was living in North Carolina by 1719 and they are not listed in the Parish Register. James Bobbitt was in the Parish Register of Saint Paul's Parish in 1708. It is mostly the family of William Bobbitt Junior that is recorded in the Albemarle Parish Register.
