This is the first mention of a Bobbitt in North Carolina in any of the records. John Bobbitt married Sarah Green who was a sister of Mary Green the wife of William Bobbitt Junior of Prince George County, Va.

William Bobbitt our immigrant ancestor died in 1702. William Bobbitt Senior, mentioned here is his son. The fact that he is called "Senior" means that there is another William Bobbitt present in the same household.
