Oct. 12, 1790 - R. L. Bobbitt was born. His grave stone in the Bobbitt cemetery of Carroll County, Virginia. Robert L. Bobbitt died December 23, 1864. He was the youngest son of Captain William Bobbitt.
1790 - William Bobbitt was appointed as an overseer of a new road from Wards Gap to Poplar Camp Mountain, near Herberts Ferry. Montgomery County records Book CO 41 page 103. William later lived along this road and is buried near where the road runs today.

Oct. 11, 1792 - John Bobbitt married Frances Mitchell in Sussex County, Virginia. This was John Bobbitt's third marriage.
Dec. 24, 1792 - Randolph Bobbitt gives bond that he will keep up payment for his illegimate child begotten on the body of Keziah Dickerson for eight years. This agreement was made on the same day that Randolph Bobbitt was married to Nancy Mays in Bedford County, Virginia.

Feb. 17, 1794 - John and James Bobbitt to John Smith. James Bobbitt of Grayson County and John Bobbitt of Pittsylvania County deed of trust on 100 acres. Pittsylvania County Records Book 9, page 508.
