Edith Bobbitt, Fanny (Cornwell) Bobbitt, Ilene Bobbitt, Ellen (Montgomery) Bobbitt, Herschel Bobbitt, John Bobbitt

This is the family of John H. Bobbitt taken in front of the house of George W. Bobbitt  in Paoli, Indiana in the early 1900s.  John is the brother of Henry Bobbitt, Keith Bobbitt's great grandfather.

Marvin Beatty and his wife Billie Blackford Beatty lived in this same house for a while after Marvin's stint in the Air Force in WWII.  George W. Bobbitt was Billie's grandfather.

"Feel free to display the pictures any way you like. Right after the war I was waiting to go to school so we lived with Billie's grandparents for several months. In fact my oldest son was born while we were living up there. My daughter was up there two weeks ago and the old house is still standing."

"He (George W. Bobbitt) died in the house while we were living there. I carried him into his bedroom one night and he said that he would never get up again, he died about a week later."

"If there ever was a Saint on Earth then Billie's grandmother was one."
