Notes for ELIJAH"GEN LIGE" COMBS, 8:

Elijah Combs built a house along the North Fork of the Kentucky River. On July 10, 1826 he deeded 10 acres of his land to the town of Hazard for it's town square. There is a marker in front of the Court House in Hazard, Perry County, Kentucky honoring him. He and his wife are buried in back of the Boggs Building  there are markers there also. I have a copy of the deed in my book about the Combs line of my wife.
