Lewis Bobbitt moved from Prince Edward County, Virginia, to Granville
County, North Carolina, about the year 1850.
He settled on a tract of 167 acres on t he south side of Reedy Creek in
Granville County, now Warren County. He lived here for the rest of his
life.
