This is the information that I have on the Rager family :

My grandfather, Lyman Rager was the son of Joe Rager, Jr. Date of birth and death is unknown at this time. He married Bobby Sue Shelton on March 7, 1896. Bobby was the daughter of Finis Taylor Shelton and Elizabeth Clare (Lizzie) Smith.

There was supposedly 13 children born to Joe and Bobby Sue. The first 6 died at or near birth. The dates and sexes of the children are unknown.

7. Queen Rager was born about 1900 in Todd County and died June 4, 1937, Muhlenberg Co., KY. She married Aaron Laster.

8. Edgar Allen Rager was born Jan. 22, 1905, in Todd Co., KY. Died October 28, 1971. He is buried in Friendship Cem. in Muhlenberg Co., KY. He married Marie Tillie Boggess.

9. Moses Rager was born April 2, 1911, in Todd Co., KY and died May, 1986. He is buried in Ebenezer Cem. in Muhlenberg Co., KY. He married Laverda Maxberry.

10. Lyman Eugene Rager was born March 9, 1915 in Clifty, Todd Co., KY. He died September 9, 1975, buried in Ebenezer Cemetery in Muhlenberg Co., KY. He had a son named Jerry Eugene Mosley by Gaynell Childers. Jerry was born on January 7, 1939, in Drakesboro, Muhl. Co., KY. Lyman and Gaynell were never married. He later married Margie Stevens in 1932 and divorced in 1933. He then married my grandmother, Mildred Louise Price in 1943. They had two daughters Sherry Ann Rager born 1944 in Drakesboro, Muhlenberg Co., KY. She married David TerMarsch in 1962. They had 3 daughters and one son. Their second daughter, Karen Jo Rager was born October 25, 1949 in Muhlenberg Co., KY. She married my father, James Edward Bruce on July 28, 1967. They had two "adorable" children- Penney and Scott Bruce. Penney was born on February 14, 1969, in Muhl. Co., KY and Scott was born on August 10, 1971, in Muhl. Co., KY. Penney married Harold Lee Gates on May 8, 1993. They have a daughter named Tayler Addison Gates born March 21, 1999. Scott married Dana Michelle Turner in June, 1993. They have a daughter named Sydney Kaitlyn Bruce born June 24, 2000.

11. Bonnie Rager born June 27, 1921, in Clifty, Todd Co., KY. Died ?? She married Robert Franklin Shelton

12. Dulcie Rager born ?? and died ??

13. J. R. Rager born ?? and died ??
